I Gave EVERYONE God-Like Powers in my Fantasy World (Here's the Cost): Worldbuilding Part 6

What if everyone in your fantasy world had epic powers? How would you make that interesting, balanced, and full of conflict?

In this episode of "Come World Build With Me," I'm continuing to build the world of Petrus for my next Christian fantasy series. We're diving deep into the magic system, born from a cataclysmic event known as the Fall. In Petrus, every human is born with a power crystal embedded in their chest, granting them incredible abilities.

But with great power comes a great cost. We'll explore the five-tier hierarchy of power, the devastating price the most powerful must pay (including shortened lifespans and a power-induced mental illness called "the Cracking"), and the detailed mechanics of the first three tribes:

- The Reprim (Red Crystal): Masters of creation and transformation, fueled by desire.

- The Lutus (Orange Crystal): Geniuses of intelligence and ingenuity, driven by curiosity.

- The Veridins (Green Crystal): Controllers of nature, connected through empathy.
