Should Christian Stories Include Dark Elements? | Finding the Balance

Should Christian stories include graphic violence, strong language, and characters struggling with sin? Or should they stay "clean" and light-hearted? As a Christian fantasy author, I've wrestled with this question both as a writer and reader.
In this video, I explore whether Christian fiction can (and should) tackle darker themes like:
-Violence and suffering
-Character struggles with sin
-Horror and thriller elements
-The broken reality of our world
The Bible doesn't shy away from depicting evil, betrayal, and human depravity. So should Christian fiction? I'll share my perspective on finding the balance between showing darkness while still pointing to redemption.
What do YOU think? Can Christian fiction get dark while still glorifying God?
